Gail DeSantis is Chief of Staff at Wealth Management Independence, where she ensures that strategic initiatives move seamlessly from concept to execution. With a professional background spanning startups to Fortune 500 companies, Gail plays a critical role in keeping the leadership team aligned and operationally efficient.

Prior to joining WMI, Gail served as the Product Design Operations Lead at BNY Mellon | Pershing X, where she drove alignment across UX design teams supporting enhancements to the Wove and NetX360 platforms. She implemented operational frameworks that enabled cross-functional visibility, optimized planning processes, and ensured design execution remained tightly integrated with shifting product priorities and timelines.

Earlier in her career, she served as Design Manager at Prismfly, where her client-focused approach and creative leadership played a key role in winning major accounts. She also held the role of Senior Advertising Operations Manager at Bauer Publishing, where she refined her ability to bridge creative direction with business strategy in fast-paced environments.

Gail holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is known for blending artistic intuition with operational rigor, and for her ability to translate vision into actionable outcomes. Based in northern New Jersey, she enjoys running, tracking market trends, and cheering on her daughters at their sporting events.
